Individuals aged 60 and over can register free of charge for JASSI’s Senior Program. We offer case assistance, friendly visits, hospital escort services, free tickets to cultural events, seminars on related topics, and more. Senior Program members also receive a senior newsletter and an e-newsletter.

Registration will be considered complete once all three items have been received. After registration, you will be eligible to receive the following services:
Case Assistance
• Based on individual needs, we provide referrals to specialized agencies and information, assistance with applications and renewals for U.S. Social Security, health insurance, and other public benefit programs, as well as information and support regarding senior housing.
Friendly Visits
• Japanese-speaking volunteers regularly visit homebound seniors who live alone to provide companionship.
Hospital and Clinic Escort Service
• Volunteers are dispatched to accompany seniors to hospitals and clinics.
• Volunteers may also accompany seniors on outings as needed.
Events
• Invitations to senior events and seminars (e.g., social gatherings, “Medicare” seminars, etc.).
Distribution of Free Tickets
• Free tickets to concerts and theatrical performances donated by cultural and arts organizations are distributed.
Newsletter Distribution
• (E-)newsletters containing useful welfare information for seniors are distributed.
